Broker network quality standards
QuoteMatch connects Ontario businesses with RIBO-licensed commercial insurance brokers. We do not bind policies. Every partner brokerage must meet the standards below before receiving applications.
How we vet partner brokers
Active provincial licensing
Partners must hold current broker or agency licensing with the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) to solicit and place commercial coverage for Ontario businesses.
Commercial lines focus
We partner with brokerages that actively write commercial insurance — general liability, property, commercial auto, E&O, cyber, and related business coverages — not personal-lines-only shops.
Industry appetite clarity
Partners tell us which trades and risk classes they want (and which they decline). Applications are routed to brokers who already place similar accounts, including niche trades generalists often turn away.
Ontario coverage
QuoteMatch is launching in Ontario first. We only route applications to brokers who can legally place coverage for Ontario businesses under RIBO.
Responsive follow-up
Partners agree to review matched applications and follow up with the business owner. Slow or no-contact partners are removed from routing.
No pressure sales commitment
Businesses are never obligated to buy. Partners compete on fit and terms; QuoteMatch does not require a purchase to complete the match.
